Glendale, Arizona Rose Show

If you're looking to do some amazing things with our roses, or are just curious to see what you might be able to do, then you may want to stop in at the Arizona State University West's "Roses Through Time" Rose show.

The Arizona West Rose Society is celebrating fifteen years of being beauty to yards all over the region. You can stop in and see the national flower of Arizona at this warm and sunny location.

At this year's event, a People's Choice Most Fragrant Shrub vote will be taken. So you can stop, smell the roses, and vote for your favorite shrub.

And if you can't go home empty handed, then you will want to grab a few miniature desert roses for your home collection. Couple that with the book, "Growing Roses in the Desert" and you're set for years of beauty.

It's on November 5, 2005 from 1pm-3pm and it's free to the public during these times. If you're looking for more information or perhaps to enter your own roses, then you can contact Heidi Leavitt from the Arizona West Rose Society, htroses3@cox.net.

Stopping to smell the roses has never been so much fun.
