Oklahoma City, OK Garden Lights

For another holiday treat, why not look into putting on your boots and heading outdoors (that’s where you want to be anyways, isn’t it)?

At the Myriad Botanical Gardens in Oklahoma City, OK, the Annual OG&E Garden Lights celebration, garden lovers of all ages can walk the grounds to see the popular Jungle Bells exhibit with it hungry alligators, dancing monkeys, and pink flamingoes.

You can walk the lighted winding paths as you go on this tropical safari. Lights give new perspective to the many orchids, palms, and waterfalls in the conservatory.

Over seventeen acres of gardens and also an indoor conservatory are turned into a paradise for the heart and the eye. From November 25th through the 1st of the year, adults can get in for only $6, seniors and students for $5, and children from 4 to 12 for $3. Hours are 9am- 6pm Mondays through Saturdays, with hours from noon until 6pm on Sundays.

And they’re closed on Christmas, of course.

But if you head over on Sundays in December, it’s free from 6pm-9pm.

Located at the corner of Reno and Robinson in the heart of downtown Oklahoma City, The Garden Lights are always a treat for the season.
