Can't sit still during the winter? Just itching to get going on your garden, but can't even find it under the snow?
Well, the Garden of Lights garden show is the perfect way to shake off the flurries and get outside for a while. Situate in Wheaton, MD from November 19th to January 8th, 2006, visitors will experience the tranquility of a winter's night with a little holiday cheer mixed in for good measure.
Over 650, 000 lights illuminate the winter gardens shaped as animals, plants, and fountains. The Brookside Gardens glow with the cheer of the holiday season without any of the denominational characteristics.
This is a great show to take the kids to and make a learning experience. Point out the different plants as constructed into lights, or look through the gardens to see what hasn't been completely covered in snow.
